About Me

Originally from the Midwest, my path to becoming a therapist began in college starting my own therapy and led me to the West Coast, where I earned my Master’s in Couple’s and Family Therapy Counseling Psychology from the University of Oregon. My own experience with therapy was a turning point in my life, and it’s why I’m so passionate about the work I do today. I believe being human is beautifully messy—filled with both joy and transition. I’m here to meet you exactly where you are, offering a space where you can show up as your authentic self.

I view mental health through a lens of social justice and community advocacy. I am deeply committed to the internal work of challenging my own biases and privileged identities. In our sessions, I welcome open conversations about systemic oppression and how it impacts your well-being. My goal is to empower not just the individual, but to help build thriving, conscious communities that support long-term healing."

“We are powerful beyond measure and so deeply vulnerable at the same time” - Jeff Brown

Services & Treatment Approaches

I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you using a collaborative, compassion-focused approach. I integrate evidence-based tools like CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy with deeper, post-modern approaches such as Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Compassion-Focused Therapy.

I specialize in supporting adults (18+) navigating:

Trauma & High-Stress Events: As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II), I provide specialized care for those healing from trauma including complex and childhood trauma.

Body Image & Disordered Eating: I offer focused support for those struggling with binge and/or restrictive eating behaviors and complex relationships with food and exercise.

Life Struggles and Transitions: Expert guidance through grief, anxiety, depression, substance use, and relationship difficulties.

Currently accepting clients for telehealth throughout California and Florida. In person sessions available in San Francisco, CA.
